Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase Confirmed for Feb 5: Switch 2 Games & Duskbloods Rumors

Nintendo confirms another Direct is coming.

Nintendo has already been busy this year with their Directs. With the focused Direct on the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy Movie and the Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream Direct, fans didn’t expect to see another so soon.

Now, on the official Nintendo X page, fans will be surprised to see that Nintendo isn’t stopping with their wave of Directs, as another one is planned for tomorrow. This time, however, Nintendo will focus on their partners. The announcement reads:

A new #NintendoDirect Partner Showcase livestream is on the way! Tune in tomorrow, Feb 5, at 6 a.m. PT for roughly 30 minutes of upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch games. Watch here: https://ninten.do/6012Qzgeq

There is no official news as to what fans can expect to see; however, many are looking toward FromSoftware and their upcoming title – The Duskbloods – as a possible showstopper. We did learn from yesterday’s earnings call that the Borderlands 4 port, initially planned for release after a delay to September, has now been cancelled.

Xbox has revealed some of their upcoming titles for the year, with a main focus on Fable in their Developer Direct last month. Nintendo will now feature a third Direct, and yet, nothing has come from Sony for PlayStation fans to feast their eyes on regarding future titles coming in 2026 and beyond. But, if the rumors are true, PlayStation fans won’t have to wait long. In fact, we may hear from Sony as early as next week, with rumors of a February 12th State of Play circulating.

Let us know what you hope to see tomorrow from the Nintendo Direct in the comments below.
