Ubisoft Proposes Up to 200 Job Cuts at Paris HQ Amid Major Restructuring and Cost-Cutting Push
Ubisoft is back in the news again, and once again it's for the wrong reasons. Ubisoft has revealed that it is proposing a loss of up to 200 jobs in its Paris headquarters in yet another cost-cutting measure.

Currently, 1,100 staff are employed at the Paris office, and the process of cutting 200 jobs is being organised under the voluntary Rupture Conventionnelle Collective (RCC), which involves staff agreeing to form a collective, voluntary mutual termination agreement. A spokesman commented to IGN
In line with last week’s announcements on its new operating model and the acceleration of cost-reduction initiatives, Ubisoft International has initiated discussions regarding a potential Rupture Conventionnelle Collective, a collective, voluntary mutual termination agreement that could involve up to 200 positions at its headquarters in France.
At this stage, this remains a proposal, and no decision will be final until a collective agreement is reached with employee representatives and validated by French authorities. The proposal applies exclusively to Ubisoft International employees under French contracts and has no impact on other French entities or Ubisoft teams worldwide.
Last week, Ubisoft announced a major company restructuring, canceling six titles, including The Prince of Persia Remake, and delaying seven other titles, which included the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag remake.
