Gray Zone Warfare Console Release Planned for 1.0
Gray Zone Warfare, released in 2024, has always been set for an eventual console release, a goal made clear by MADFINGER Games. Today we finally got a set idea when, as PR Director for MADFINGER, Rick Lagnese took to social media to give a direct timeline for the console release.
Gray Zone Warfare, whose player count according to SteamDB has jumped from 2,000 to 30,000 following the release of the 0.4 update named Spearhead. Gray Zone Warfare has settled in as a PvE-first tactical sandbox shooter, after going through several genre changes since its original release.

Gray Zone Warfare roadmap already has extensive updates planned, though console players should take note that even the 0.7 update is not expected until Spring 2027, so 1.0 is still at least a year away at best, but the fact MADFINGER is already gearing up for an eventual console release is a promising sign.
