Resident Evil Requiem: Story Expansion DLC, Photo Mode And Mini-Game Coming Soon
In an X post, Resident Evil director Koshi Nakanishi, thanked players for supporting the game, which has surpassed over five million sales, setting records for the launch of a Resident Evil game. Nakanishi went on to confirm that in addition to patches to address performance issues and bugs, the development team is working on new content for Requiem.
“First, the much-anticipated Photo Mode. On top of that, there’s another surprise coming around May. We’re planning to add a mini-game.”
The director proceeded to flicker through a series of papers containing several gags, including a Match 3 puzzle game and Poker mode, before ending on a paper that included the words Story Expansion, Now in Development.
“We are planning to make extra story content. In this story, we will dive deeper into the world of Requiem. We’re hard at work on it now. It will take some time, so we ask for your patience and hope you’ll look forward to it.”

The first image Nakanishi shows, seemed to display protagonist Leon embracing a mysterious woman, a potential reference to how at the end of Requiem Leon was wearing a wedding ring, which sparked speculation who his partner could be.
