GTA 6 Pre-Orders Coming Soon? Title IDs Appear on PlayStation Store

Pre-Orders for GTA VI could be coming very soon. Thanks to dataminer PlayStation Game Size, who noted that Rockstar Games has added title IDs for Grand Theft Auto VI on the PlayStation store, which could mean pre-orders will start opening up in the near future.

Grand Theft Auto VI title IDs have been added to the PlayStation database. I expect we’ll see something about the game soon, probably the start of pre-orders.

While the dataminer said he is not sure what normal amount of time it takes from a title ID appearing to pre-orders to beginning, however, they said it should not be that long.

To be honest, it completely depends on the publisher, and it's not something I know for sure. But I don't think there's going to be a long wait.

The fact GTA 6 is beginning to have prep work done by Rockstar is good news for fans as it decreases the chance of the game receiving its third delay, after being pushed first from November 2025 to May of this year before another delay to the current planned release date of November 19, 2026.

Perhaps even more exciting than the release date being locked in, is that pre-orders when they do happen will give us an official price. Several have speculated that the base game could potentially change video games forever with a $100 launch price. Though former Rockstar developers still believe the game will keep the standard $70 tag to open up the game to more players.
