Insomniac Games: Marvel’s Spider-Man 'Not Likely' to Come to Xbox

Marvel’s Spider-Man chances of making an appearance on the Xbox took another hit recently. Responding to a question on X from a user asking “spider man to Xbox” Insomniac Games' official account replied, “Not Likely.”

While the fact that Insomniac Games left a sliver of chance by not going without a flat-out No, anyone hoping for a full multiplatform Marvel’s Spider-Man will have to stick to the current unconventional methods.

For now, it appears the first-party franchise for Sony will remain in its current format with a day one release on PlayStation before eventually making the jump to PC as we have seen in recent years. For now, Xbox players can still use the Xbox PC App or Xbox Ally to play Marvel’s Spider-Man since both offer Steam support.

With Halo heading to PlayStation later this year, it seemed like the console wars were finally coming to an end, but at least for now it seems that PlayStation and Sony are holding out here and there on fully extending the Olive Branch.

Do you think we ever see a fully supported Xbox release of Marvel’s Spider-Man? Or will it remain a PlayStation and PC exclusive? Give us your thoughts in the comments and do not forget to join our GamerzTheory Discord.
