God of War: Sons of Sparta Out Now on PS5 -2D Prequel with TC Carson Narrating

Rumors had been swirling of a 2D Metroidvania-style God of War game coming out some time this year, and not only did we get our first look at God of War Sons of Sparta during the State of Play Showcase. The game is out right now.

The game follows young Kratos’ during his training at the Agoge with his brother Deimos. While TC Carson only teased the remake trilogy, he makes his return to the series for the first time in a decade, as the narrator of the game from the perspective of adult Kratos.

The game, which is part of the 20th anniversary celebration of the God of War franchise, is out now for purchase on the PlayStation Store.
