Insomniac: Marvel's Wolverine Details Coming Spring 2026 After Daredevil Tease

Good news and bad news for fans hoping to hear more about the upcoming Insomniac Games Marvel’s Wolverine. On an X account yesterday, one of the developers answered a fan asking when we would get more details of the game with simply “Spring 2026.”

While it is good to hear details on the game are coming soon, this most likely rules out any chance of the game appearing at the State of Play event for Sony tomorrow. After being quiet for much of last year, it seems Insomniac Games is slowly ramping up for the game to enter the light of day.

Last week, an Instagram post from Insomniac seemed to strongly hint to the fact that Daredevil would be appearing in Marvel's Wolverine. In addition, it does appear we are still set to get the game in the next fiscal year, which was revealed during Sony Interactive Entertainment’s latest financial results. The upcoming fiscal year runs from April 2026 - March 2027.

Actor Liam Mcintyre, who is set to play James ‘Logan’ Howlett, said last year that he cannot wait to showcase more of the game this year, and was grateful to all the fans who had wishlisted the game already.
