Assassin's Creed Black Flag Remake Confirmed? New Edward Kenway Statue Leak

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Resync, has been heavily rumored to be the title delayed in the recent Ubisoft movie that was coming out in March 2026. A new set of leaks seem to confirm that in fact the title changed, as it appears protagonist Edward Kenway is getting a collectible statue.

While Ubisoft has yet to officially confirm, the 2013 pirate-themed Assassin’s Creed is in fact getting a remake. It appears, thanks to X user and known leaker j0nathon, that Pure Arts has already manufactured a statue of the leader character to potentially be released ahead of the launch.

The statue depicts Edward Kenway sitting on a treasure chest, overflowing with gold, while he sits against the Jackdaw’s wheel with a cutlass in one hand and a pistol in another. Topped off with a pirate flag featuring the Assassin’s Creed logo. The statue is 35cm tall and 20cm wide and slated to launch this year, with Ubisoft and Pure Arts logos denoting a 2026 copyright.

In the Ubisoft reshuffle, a title set for March 2026, was delayed one year to March 2027 and this seems to almost confirm that the title was indeed Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resync. Previously receiving an 18 rating from PEGI in December 2025, it will be curious to see when Ubisoft officially confirms the game with the myriad of leaks that have given away the title in the recent months.
