StarRupture Update 1 PTB Now Live: New Zipline, Bigger Map, New Resources, Buildings & Wildlife

StarRupture is ziplining toward its first major update. The first-person, open-world survival automated base-building title (say that five times fast) is the next creation from Creepy Jar, the team behind the jungle survival game Green Hell.

In StarRupture, you play as an exiled convict tasked with surviving on the planet Arcadia-7, living out your sentence among hordes of aggressive, alien-like creatures in an ever-changing landscape. The planet periodically “ruptures,” wiping the world clean and offering a fresh start as you continue your contracts and base-building ventures. You can check out our full preview here.

Creepy Jar has been hard at work on its next major update, and players who want an early look can access the StarRupture Public Test Branch (PTB) right now to explore the new features. The purpose of the PTB is to give players access to unreleased content, features, and mechanics planned for future expansions, while allowing them to provide feedback to the development team.
