John Wick Game Announced: Keanu Reeves Stars in New AAA Action Title from Saber Interactive

John Wick is coming, today during the Sony State of Play Showcase. Lionsgate and Saber Interactive announced a brand new John Wick game in the works. The game, which currently has no title, is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Set as a single-player third-person action game, players can take control of John Wick and his iconic style.

Of course, it would not be John Wick without Keanu Reeves, who, as shown in the trailer, brings his iconic look and voice to the title. In addition, John Wick franchise director Chad Stahelski is also involved in the production.

For fans of the John Wick series, the game is set to take place in the years before Impossible Task, expanding on the franchise lore during that time. Expect familiar characters to make returns as well as new ones. Jenefer Brown, President of Global Products & Experiences at Lionsgate said of the upcoming game

“I can’t wait for fans to step into the shoes of John Wick and explore the multidimensional world of The High Table. We are collaborating closely with Saber’s dedicated team to develop a game that captures the unparalleled action, brand-defining fight choreography, immersive world-building, and authenticity of the films.”

Perhaps the only unfortunate news is that the game did not get a release window during the trailer debut.
