No Rest for the Wicked Hits #1 on Steam: 50k Copies/Day

No Rest for the Wicked, the Action RPG from Moon Studios GmbH, has suddenly become the most popular game on Steam in the last week. Thomas Mahler, the CEO and Creative Director for the game, tweeted out Monday that the game is #1 on Steam.

According to Mahler, the game is selling 50k copies per day. Out selling Arc Raiders, Forza, GTA, Red Dead, and more. The Steamdb charts for the game show the title sitting at around 1,000 players ever since an update in April 2025, before the player count exploded. With a 24-hour peak of 36,590, and the all-time peak of 62,997 was hit just 3 days ago.

Mahler also promised that the studio is working hard on the upcoming 1.0 content release. Currently, No Rest for the Wicked is on sale through February 5th, 40% off for $23.99. Unlike other games with recent population explosions, No Rest for the Wicked reviews are also favorable, sitting at 86% positive at the time of writing.

The Action RPG features up to four player co-op or single player mode and is looking like a must-play for all fans of the genre.
