ARC Raiders Ban Wave Hits Cheaters: 30-Day Suspensions & No Refunds
With great success and millions of players, there is always one issue plaguing the community: cheaters!
Some prominent streamers have expressed concerns about the large number of cheaters ruining ARC Raiders. The team at Embark is listening and appears to be cracking down on those who refuse to play fairly. Thanks to updates from ARC Raiders Updates on X, those who have been playing unfairly are now being punished.
Multiple players have reported bans for a variety of violations. Apparently, using exploits, aimbots, ESP, and other forms of misconduct will result in a 30-day ban. Imagine that - cheating will get you banned with no refunds for the game. Good! Cheaters have plagued gaming for years, with multiplayer titles being at the forefront of players' frustrations.

The move to ban players is necessary to keep the game enjoyable for those who play fairly and to maintain a strong community as the influx of new players continues. With ARC Raiders surpassing 12 million units sold, there is plenty of opportunity for cheaters to find exploits and other ways to gain an unfair advantage, making it frustrating for honest players. This 30-day ban is certainly a welcome addition, and those who continue to cheat will face even harsher penalties. The community would like to see permanent bans, though that is unlikely.
This is just the beginning of a long process for Embark to battle cheaters and keep the game clean. The art director also mentioned that players who consistently play fairly are more likely to be matched together. Something to consider when facing cheaters: you might not encounter them if you play nice in the first place.
