Beyond Good & Evil 2 Still ALIVE in 2025 – New Ubisoft Job Listing Proves It’s Not Cancelled Yet!
Ubisoft has yet to pull the plug on the nearly 20-year development hell of Beyond Good and Evil 2. If a new job posting is any indication, it appears the game is still moving forward, much to the delight of its long-awaited cult following.
A new job posting from Ubisoft is seeking a technical sound designer who will specifically work at Ubisoft Montpellier on Beyond Good and Evil 2.
"Under the supervision of the Audio Director at the Montpellier studio, you will provide technical solutions for integrating and implementing audio systems to ensure that the audio assets created by the team work as intended, in line with the Audio Director’s vision," the job listing reads.
Calling the development of Beyond Good and Evil 2 "HELL" is an understatement at this point. However, fans remain hopeful that we will one day see the return of Jade and learn more about her mysterious disappearance. No one knows when that will be. If Ubisoft is still hiring, it seems the release is still years away. Will we see anything at The Game Awards next month about the game? That seems rather unlikely, but fans are still holding out hope for any news.
