Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater's Fox Hunt MP Mode Stealth Drops

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater is arguably one of the best, if not the best title in the MGS series. Since Kojima’s departure from Konami, the Metal Gear series has been in question by fans. How will Konami bring the legendary series forward? Instead of a new entry within the series, Konami decided to go with a remake. A remake from the ground up approach that will hopefully excite fans of old and introduce new fans who have heard about the incredible series but had never played it.

When the remake launched back in August on PS5, PC and Xbox series consoles to a Metacritic score of 85, it fell short of extending the game past its main campaign. Rightfully so, the campaign needed its moment to shine and bring new life to the series. However, is adding the multiplayer mode Fox Hunt now, the same day as ARC Raiders debut, too late all these months later?

Fox Hunt currently stealths it's way around with 2 modes: Survival Capture and Survival Intrude. Survival Capture will have you and your teammate hunting Kerotan Frogs to be the last team standing. While Survival Intrude is more of a tactical stealth battle royale where players face off against each other to be the last team standing while the arena space begins to shrink around them.

We’ve seen other titles release their multiplayer mode months after the initial release of the game with some success, while others have utterly failed due to lack of their player install base still playing the game. Will Fox Hunt survive? Or stealthily sneak away under the brush of its own foliage? Time will tell, but I do have high hopes in a space that needs innovation.

Multiplayer shooters need more stealth-focused titles for us non-twitch reflex players who crave slow-paced, tactical and downright sneaky gameplay!

Are you sneaking around Fox Hunt ,and what mode do you like most? Let us in the comments.
