Grove Street Games Next Title | After GTA Trilogy
Grove Street Games, the team behind the 2020 release of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, is working on something new. The GTA Trilogy, released in 2020, unfortunately received less than impressive reviews and currently sits at a 54 on Metacritic. Many have questioned what went wrong with this legendary series, which should have been a slam dunk for a remaster. There were numerous differences found when comparing the previous games to the Definitive Edition, ranging from textures to missing assets and incorrect clothing. Fans have asked who at Rockstar approved such a misstep for the series.

Now, Jordan Kleeman, Executive Producer at Grove Street Games, has shared via LinkedIn (as spotted by Timur222) that the team is currently working on an unannounced title. Grove Street Games has previously collaborated with 2K and Rockstar Games on GTA The Trilogy, as well as with Studio Wildcard on the ARK Survivor games, assisting with ultimate editions and other content.

It appears that Grove Street Games is now working on something else, with a posting focused on an unannounced title coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2026. No other details are known about the game, but if the studio’s previous work is any indication, it is likely a remake or a collaboration with another studio on a known title. What are the chances it’s their own new IP?
