Styx: Blades of Greed Taunts Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell, Hitman & Metal Gear

The third game in the Styx series, Styx: Blades of Greed, released yesterday and the stealth-driven adventure of a goblin full of brutal kills and open environments has set its sights on some of the biggest titles in the industry.

Retweeting an X post from Eurogamer, calling it “easily the best stealth game in years,” the game's official X account immediately called out the Assassin’s Creed brand.

It did not just stop there either. When a user pointed out they should comment in French, so Ubisoft could ‘understand properly’, Styx doubled down.

The taunts did not just stop at Assassin’s Creed. When asked about ‘GOAT Sam Fisher’, the lead of perhaps the most iconic stealth shooter ever made in the Splinter Cell series, the account replied with simply ‘Sam Fisher stays in the shadows.’

The final targets of the day were Agent 47 and Big Boss, who Styx both openly challenged as well.
