Crimson Desert Goes Gold: Major Milestone Locked In for March 19, 2026 Release
Crimson Desert Has Gone GOLD Months Before Release
Nearly seven years ago, fans were teased by Pearl Abyss with the promise of a grand adventure that seemed almost impossible. Many were shocked by what they saw and, like most, felt it would be unobtainable. Now, the team behind one of the most successful MMOs, Black Desert, has just announced that Crimson Desert has gone GOLD.
After several delays and a complete overhaul of the game, Pearl Abyss took to X with exciting news: Crimson Desert has gone GOLD nearly two months ahead of its March 19th release date. Crimson Desert, the upcoming open-world action-adventure title, will have players take on the role of Kilff, a resilient leader of the Greymane mercenaries. As players embark on a quest across Pywel, they will reunite and rebuild the Greymanes, confront rival factions throughout the game, and battle the threat of emerging technology - all in a twist of survival and revenge.
Though skepticism about the trailer may cause some players to doubt what awaits, Pearl Abyss shows confidence in their team and forges a new path forward with their next adventure.
"We're thrilled to announce that #CrimsonDesert has gone gold! On behalf of the team at Pearl Abyss, thank you to our fans around the world for your support and for reaching this milestone with us. Stay tuned for more news, and see you in Pywel on March 19!
