Nikita Buyanov Teases COR3: Escape from Tarkov Creator's New Sci-Fi Game

An upcoming game from the head of the studio at Battlestate Games, Nikita Buyanov, has been teased by Buyanov on social media. A website had surfaced for the game, hosting a minigame, teasing a new project called COR3. Now another website has surfaced with a countdown, and a blurry video that shows a first-person shooter, with the countdown set to end on February 1st.

Nikita Buyanov is one of the creative minds who has helped grow Escape from Tarkov over the last decade. Recently, his social media have turned into a bevy of cryptic posts, with enigmatic images and puzzles, which his followers have been decoding.

Little is known about COR3 so far, though currently there are no ties between Battlestate Games and COR3. The COR3 trademark is in Nikita’s name and so far Buyanov is the only one sharing info on the game. With the timer on the website set to expire in just a couple of weeks, hopefully more information will be coming soon.

COR3 seems to represent some kind of alternate reality set in the universe where Earth has suffered from a catastrophic event. With talk of interplanetary travel, space pirates, and ships adrift in the great beyond, it appears COR3 is going to be much different than Escape from Tarkov.
