ARC Raiders DOMINATES Charts: Steam #1 for 9 Weeks + Console Top 10!

The blazing success of ARC Raiders continues to sweep the charts, as it is once again the number one most played game on Steam and remains in the top 10 for consoles.

In a recent post on BlueSky, Mat Piscatella of Circana shared the most played games of the week in the US. Circana is a leading American market research and technology company that highlights the biggest movers and shakers in gaming, among other forms of tech thanks to Mat and the team.

ARC Raiders has maintained its position as Steam’s most played game, holding the number one spot for the ninth week in a row. Meanwhile, Valve’s DOTA 2 saw a resurgence, returning to the top 10 for the first time since November 2024.

Console rankings remain steady, with the top spot awarded to Fortnite players, followed by Call of Duty, GTA V, and Roblox in fourth place. ARC Raiders continues to be among the top 10 most played games on consoles, ranking eighth on PlayStation and seventh on Xbox.

In other ARC Raiders news, Virgil Watkins, Design Lead at Embark Studios, says the developers are considering new ways to “escalate PvE” because the player base has become too skilled at defeating the ARCs.

“We want to go wherever is practical for us, or wherever feels fun, but then you start running into the practical side of, will this blow up the server?”

There are also rumors that Embark may open the doors of Speranza. For those unaware, Speranza is the flatscreen hub where players gather new tasks, sell or buy gear, and more. It’s currently a closed-off hub of navigated menus. Now, Embark is discussing the possibility of allowing players to fully explore this hub world, walk the streets of Speranza, and visit traders in person rather than through menus.
