Nearly eight years later, Red Dead Redemption 2 players are still struggling to solve a newly discovered mystery. Have you come across this mysterious spider web?

A new enigma has taken over the Red Dead Redemption community, with players working together to unravel what’s now being called the “Spider Web Mystery.” A series of spider webs and recently uncovered symbols have appeared across the map, leading many to believe they’re clues to something much bigger.

One Red Dead Redemption 2 content creator, known as Strange Man, has been able to track down the strange appearance of these symbols and webs. Stumbling across a specific telephone pole between 3 AM and 4 AM in the game will reveal these markings. He has also mapped out other locations where similar findings have appeared, uncovering even more mysterious sightings tied to the Easter egg.

The western frontier of Red Dead Redemption 2 is filled with secrets, as expected. Rockstar has been hiding Easter eggs in their games for years. Players are still discovering new things in GTA V - a game released in 2013. Rockstar creates worlds that keep on giving if you know where to look.
