Welcome to the season of giving - or in this case, leaks! The Game Awards are just around the corner, and the rumors and leaks are hotter than ever. We’ve seen some tempered expectations, letting fans know that there will be no new content revealed at the awards ceremony in the case of The Witcher 4. Others have taken the complete opposite approach, letting fans know that they will be on the biggest stage of the year with Hasbro’s upcoming Exodus.

In the spirit of giving and leaks, it seems more names are joining the list of who else might be attending the big night. Control was released back in 2019, nearly six years ago. MP1ST has discovered a trademark for “CONTROL Resonant” that was registered in Europe.

Now, this doesn’t confirm anything and should be taken with a grain of salt. However, the trademark representative for the listed title under CONTROL Resonant is Nordia Attorneys at Law - the very law firm that represents Remedy.

We know Remedy is hard at work on a sequel to the game, which was revealed in 2022 and entered full production earlier this year. Remedy is working on multiple projects, including the sequel to CONTROL and a collaboration with Annapurna Interactive for film and TV series adaptations of CONTROL and Alan Wake.

Will they have something to reveal at Geoff Keighley’s Game Awards? Sam Lake is no stranger to the awards night and being on stage or dancing. Let us know what you think about a reveal for CONTROL or maybe some Alan Wake news at The Game Awards over in our Discord.
