Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra Delayed Again to Mid-Late 2026 | Skydance's Latest Update
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra Sees Another Delay
It’s been years since we’ve seen a title from Amy Hennig, and with the newly announced delay of Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra being delayed to mid–late 2026, fans worry they may never see a title from Amy at all.
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is just the latest game revealed to be delayed once again. GTA VI, one of next year's most anticipated titles, also saw a delay to November 19, 2026, something Skydance and Amy Hennig’s team will have to take into account for their release.
Skydance shared on X the news:
“At Skydance Games, our goal is to deliver unforgettable, premium games that honor the characters and worlds we’re fortunate to work with. Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is an ambitious project, and we are committed to ensuring it meets the level of quality that our team, players, and fans expect. To fully realize our vision for Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, we’ve made the decision to shift our release window beyond early 2026.”
Not much is truly known about the project, nor a release date other than its original plans that later saw a push towards early 2026, and now possibly mid to late 2026. The game is based off of Captain America and Black Panther coming together to join forces in the fight against Hydra, an organization that threatens to turn the tides of WWII.
