The long-standing Resident Evil series has wet the appetite of horror fans for years and continues to be one of the largest horror franchises to continuously keep coming back with more for fans to enjoy.

Now in a Road To Requiem video that showcases 10 minutes of how it all began, narrated by Lady Dimitrescu herself. We learn what it took to create the original 1996 title and all that came after, all the way to Resident Evil Village and for it to circle back to Requiem.

Resident Evil Requiem will align with Capcom's 30-year anniversary celebration of the franchise next year when the game launches on February 27th, 2026. Fans will be following Grace Ashcroft, the daughter of Outbreak’s Alyssa Ashcroft in a ruined state of Raccoon City. Not much has been said about the story and where Grace’s story will take fans. But, with a few small leaks, fans will be in good hands to survive the horrors of Requiem.

For those who like to pre-order the game, you’re in luck. Pre-orders are now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. The Deluxe Edition will cost $79.99 and bring some extra goodies for fans including:
