Bully Online Trailer Drops: Fan-Made Multiplayer Sequel Launches December 2025
Bully Online Revealed
Long-time fans of the smash-hit high school drama Bully, have been asking Rockstar for a sequel to Jimmy Hopkins' next adventure for years, but fans have had no success. Bully released back in 2008 and has a score of 9/10 currently on Steam. We’re shocked Rockstar has never decided to allow Jimmy Hopkins to rule the halls of Bullworth Academy once again. Playing pranks, fighting off bullies, outsmarting the teachers or tossing a firecracker down a toilet seems all but worth a sequel. Of course, Rockstar is all hands on with GTA VI right now, but could we not see anything in the Bully universe?
WELL… We just might be getting something, but it's not what you would expect.
Fans have taken it upon themselves to create Bully Online, an online mode that will allow “you and your friends to play minigames, roleplay, compete in racing, fend off against NPCs, and much more,” read the team's description of their trailer.
It’s all there, the original world of Bullworth. From the preppy kids to the high school jocks, the online sandbox should create some of those magical moments from so long ago. Bully Online runs on the DSL Script Loader, allowing Swegta and his team to completely mod the build of the game and create their online vision. They plan to open up the server this December to fans who support them on “ko-fi.com/bullyonline.
The online game will feature a fully fleshed out inventory system, allowing players to earn cash or trade with other players for those who enjoy the role-playing side of the game. The cash can then be used to buy houses, new vehicles, weapons and more. Racing appears to be a large focus with the team and the ability to customize your ride, whether it’s a shopping cart or a skateboard, there will be plenty to do.
Let us know if Bullyonline is something you’ll be checking out.
