Battlefield 6’s Battle Royale to Launch with Duos and 4 Person Squads, It’s Been Claimed

The teams over at EA are gearing up for the launch of Season 1, Rogue Ops in Battlefield 6. One rumor that is all but confirmed would be a new mode to join their suite of multiplayer modes called RedSec Battle Royale.

New details have been leaked about the latest addition to the game, with known insider, ModernWarzone, posting on X. The new RedSec Battle Royale will feature teams of Duos(2) and Squads of four at launch. The battlefield will create 100-person chaos with a total of 25 teams of 4 or 50 teams of 2 for each match. Will fans receive a single-player one-on-one battle royale in the future will likely depend on player feedback and requests.

The military shooter has taken the game to new levels of destruction and RedSec should be no different. We’ve seen the rise of the battle royale genre hit new peaks thanks to Epic Games' Fortnite and Call of Duty's Warzone.
