Battle Royale for A Battlefield
Season 1 is launching on October 28th and one dataminer suggests Battlefield 6 could be getting their Battle Royale mode with the new season.
This comes by way of ModernWarzone leaker on X. New content for Battlefield 6 is planned to launch next that is NOT Season 1, codenamed “Granite”, with a release date of October 28th, which was datamined from the EA App.
Season 1 will look to keep the community busy with three waves of free post-launch content that will drop for the game between October and December. The first drop of content launching on October 28th is called Rogue Ops, and will consist of a new Blackwell Fields map, a Strikepoint mode and a new vehicle, among other additions such as a new sniper rifle, sidearm and more.
Next to follow on November 18th will be another map, Eastwood, a new limited-time Sabotage mode, new gear and a battle pickups feature added to the game.
Last, but not least, will be the December 9th drop. Winter Offensive will contain another limited-time event called Ice Lock, which will also bring a new map to coincide with the mode, Ice Lock Empire State, an ice climbing axe melee weapon and more.
The teams at EA are certainly busy as they look toward their largest Battlefield launch in franchise history and keeping fans going on the battlefield. With the game selling over 7 million copies in just three days, be assured, the team is just getting started.
