ARC Raiders Shrouded Sky Update: PvP Feats Gone, Is It a PvE Game Now?

Arc Raiders latest update, Shrouded Sky, has some pretty big additions to the game, with a new ‘Hurricane’ map condition, new quests, and a brand-new area on Dam Battlegrounds. However, for those looking for PvP additions, unfortunately, Shrouded Sky only brought subtractions.

As part of the Shrouded Sky update, PvP Feats were removed from the game. Feats are challenges that require players to do certain tasks, with the PvP ones focused on dealing damage to other players with certain ammo types or searching dead players' bodies. The removal of the PvP versions of the feats removes the majority of the reasons to fight other players, outside of doing it for the love of the game.

The PvE feats did get some updates as well as some new additions. Embark has also made it so you can reroll Feats for free up to three times per day in case players are unhappy with the Feat they got.

Shrouded Skies appears to be a big loss for those pushing the idea that Arc Raiders is a PvP game. However, there is a chance Embark could bring them back or the change could be a test to see how the Feat system works in a PvE format.

Do you think Arc Raiders should embrace PvP or should it focus primarily on PvE? Let us know in the comments and in the GamerzTheory Discord.
