Mirria Announced at Day of the Devs 2025: Eerie Liminal Puzzle Adventure from ISLANDS Creator

The greatest mystery of Day of the Devs: The Game Awards 2025 is Mirria.

Solo developed by Carl Burton, creator of ISLANDS: Non-Places (2016), and published by Mografi.

Mirria is presented as an atmospheric, casual puzzle game that involves careful observation of a very liminal and eerie dreamscape. According to the Steam page: “Players navigate a strange, cryptic world that blurs the line between dream and reality. Using inspection and memory, uncover hidden anomalies between mirrored worlds.”

Mirria is expected to take about 5–7 hours to complete, consisting of observational puzzles that reveal anomalies in this dimensional mashup. It appears that real-world locations are presented as 3D models suspended in some sort of liquid. The reflections of these locations are the dream versions, and the differences found between these dimensions will tell some sort of story. It is all very abstract and intriguing, but Carl Burton has not yet revealed the release date. Available on PC via Steam; consoles TBA.
