Xbox will add Default Game Profiles to ROG Xbox Ally devices

The purpose of the latest update is to provide a seamless experience and limit the amount of time you would have to spend in a game’s settings menu to adjust or tweak in-game graphical options, frame rate, and visual fidelity.

Xbox will feature 40 titles to begin with for the new update and plans to add more in the future. The Default Game Profiles will automatically make all of the previously mentioned adjustments for you, resulting in a much smoother and more enjoyable gameplay experience. This saves you the time and hassle of manually adjusting a game’s settings yourself. Instead, the ROG Xbox Ally devices will feel more in line with the Xbox experience most users have become accustomed to.

The Xbox News Wire post only features a handful of titles; we hope to have a clearer understanding of all the titles shortly. We’ll update our article when we hear from our sources. For now, here are the highlighted titles:

Along with the update for Default Game Profiles, other improvements have been added, such as improved gamepad response after login, quicker library loading, Cloud gaming page performance improvements, and a new Game Gallery filter to help you see how well games will run on the device.
